Job Summary
What you’ll do in the role
📍Rapidly build, ship, and test new applications on top of our AI platform to compete with and 10x existing SaaS tools 📍Get your hands dirty deep in the AI systems, as well as writing traditional application code 📍Bake AI into every part of your role to make it better, trying to automate it away so you can do 100 jobs at once 📍Be a thought leader in the enterprise AI space 📍Manage and mentor junior engineers 📍Guide the early Village technical architecture decisions that will resonate throughout the global economy for years to come 🤯 📍Establish the Village engineering culture–live the mission and set a standard 📍Help the product team craft the team vision, strategy, and roadmap while proposing innovative solutions, as well as understanding technical limitations 📍Drive key business metrics 📍Have an inordinate amount of fun
Position Qualifications
📍Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree (Computer Science preferred) 📍8+ years of professional experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go) 📍Experience and desire to own new products from zero to one, from system design to implementation to deployment 📍Strong communication and collaboration skills 📍Experience in React, Next.js, and TypeScript (nice to have) 📍Experience with LLM Operations and prompt engineering (nice to have) 📍Excitement, ambition, and fun
