Job Summary

Responsibilities:

šŸ“Be accountable for growing BitGoā€™s core competency of increasing the amount of digital assets we Custody. šŸ“Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same. šŸ“Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department šŸ“Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the teamā€™s work šŸ“Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services šŸ“Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example šŸ“Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing šŸ“Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives šŸ“Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks šŸ“Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client first approach.

Skills & Experience:

šŸ“We are looking for teammates who share and practice our values: open communication, transparency, taking ownership, and a high level of craftsmanship. We are looking for coworkers who share our vision and mission: deliver trust in digital assets.

Required:

šŸ“8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 4+ years in a managerial role. šŸ“Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same. šŸ“Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager. šŸ“Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent. šŸ“Proven success leading engineering-wide initiatives. šŸ“Demonstrated history of collaborating with product to come up with a product roadmap. šŸ“Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.
