Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šBe accountable for growing BitGoās core competency of increasing the amount of digital assets we Custody. šCollaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same. šProvide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department šTake direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the teamās work šManage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services šEncourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example šFacilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing šCollaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives šWork closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks šActively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client first approach.
Skills & Experience:

Required:
š8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 4+ years in a managerial role. šExperience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same. šExperience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager. šTrack record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent. šProven success leading engineering-wide initiatives. šDemonstrated history of collaborating with product to come up with a product roadmap. šCoordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.
