Job Summary
Responsibilities
📍Design, implement, and optimize cryptographic systems and primitives across Anza’s validator client, consensus protocols, networking protocols, and developer tooling. 📍Analyze existing protocol mechanisms for security risks and cryptographic soundness. 📍Integrate cryptographic components into systems ranging from consensus to key management and validator operations. 📍Conduct and participate in security reviews, audits, and threat modeling. 📍Contribute to performance tuning and benchmarking of crypto-related components. 📍Collaborate closely with engineers and researchers on protocol evolution and technical design. 📍Publish research work to top conferences
What You’ll Bring:
📍5+ years of experience working with cryptographic systems in production settings. 📍Proficiency with modern cryptographic algorithms: hash functions, digital signatures, key exchange, threshold/multi-signature schemes. 📍Strong programming skills in Rust, C++, or similar systems languages. 📍Understanding of distributed systems and adversarial threat models. 📍Ability to reason rigorously about cryptographic correctness and protocol-level security. 📍Practical experience with the design and analysis of cryptographic network protocols (e.g., TLS, QUIC, Noise).
