Job Summary
What you'll be doing:
šBuild scalable, highly performant infrastructure for delivering clear business insights from a variety of raw data sources. šDevelop and maintain batch & real-time data pipelines/ analytical solutions, prototypes, and proofs of concept for selected solutions šDevelop, improve and simplify frameworks and tools to empower our data analysts and internal teams to make data-driven decisions. šImplement analytical projects with a focus on collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing data. šDeploy and use various big data technologies and run pilots to design and improve low latency data architectures at scale šImplement best practices for managing versions and source control for data product development šBe a technical leader and strategic thinker to decide the technology stacks used in the process šWork well independently but also in teams, with technical software engineers who can help with infrastructure set up, but be the expert on data related matters šHave a strong drive to develop oneself and take on bigger projects, with the ultimate aim of being a leader in the organization
What we're looking for:
šBachelorās degree in Computer Science or related field 5 years' relevant experience šDeep understanding of Big Data technologies such as Kafka, Airflow, Apache Superset, etc. šExperience with complex data modelling, ETL design, and using large databases in a business environment šProficient in Python and SQL. Working knowledge or experiences with Java / Scala is a plus. šExperience with Big Data transformation technologies, especially Spark šHave built data pipelines end-to-end
