Job Summary

We’re excited to invite talented and motivated Android Engineers to join our award-winning team to help expand Robinhood’s mobile experience for our customers.

Our team within Money Movement provides a unified experience for Robinhood users to fund their account – the core foundational action that powers or unlocks all the use cases within our app. All products we build are not standalone. We cater to needs within all verticals, and our system's health directly affects the volume of actions happening within Robinhood.

We’re looking for passionate and skilled engineers who lead by example, building up the product and people around them through hard work, mentorship, and proven best practices.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

Work with a fast-growing team to revolutionize finance at speed and scale Build smooth, stable, and elegant products with Kotlin and the newest Android APIs Own features from inception to design, implementation, and launch Work cross-functionally with Product Designers, Product Managers, Backend Engineers, and Data Engineers About you:

At least 5 years of professional Android development experience Proficiency with Java or Kotlin Motivation to improve Robinhood’s app and codebase to ensure the highest quality for our customers Strong product sense and ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers Experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, and managing technical projects Excellent communication skills and passion for solving technical challenges Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred; equivalent training or work experience also acceptable Technologies we use:

Kotlin Coroutines RxJava Retrofit / OkHttp Dagger Room

This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood’s equity plan.

Base pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Please note, some of our roles are open to additional levels which would impact the expected base pay.
