Job Summary
Tasks
šDevelop and implement risk management policies and procedures to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. šMonitor and analyse market trends, economic factors, and regulatory changes that could impact the exchange. šManage and update risk models to ensure they are accurate and reflect current market conditions. šConduct regular risk assessments on various financial products and services the exchange offers. šWork closely with trading and compliance departments to ensure adherence to risk management protocols. šProvide regular risk reports to senior management, highlighting potential risk exposures and mitigation strategies. šCollaborate with IT departments to enhance risk management software and tools. šLead crisis management efforts in the event of market disruptions or other risk events. šConduct training and workshops for staff on risk awareness and risk management practices. šParticipate in the development and testing of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
šBachelorās or masterās degree in finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. šMinimum of 5 years of experience in risk management within the financial services or exchange industry. šStrong understanding of financial markets, trading operations, and risk management methodologies. šProficiency in risk management software and strong analytical skills. šExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey risk assessments and recommendations. šAbility to work independently and in a team environment. šStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. šKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial industry. šCertification in risk management (e.g., FRM, PRM) is preferred.
