What you will do

📍Conduct risk assessments (including RCSAs) to identify, analyse, and document financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks across the business. 📍Maintain and enhance MoonPay’s Process, Risk & Control (PRC) Inventory, ensuring risks and controls are clearly documented and aligned to regulatory requirements. 📍Perform compliance testing and monitoring activities across Compliance and business functions, identifying control gaps and tracking remediation. 📍Support global regulatory compliance efforts by ensuring policies, procedures, and controls align with applicable laws and industry standards (including EU and other key jurisdictions). 📍Prepare clear, data-driven reporting and risk insights for senior leadership to support decision-making and governance oversight. 📍Stay informed on emerging crypto-related regulatory developments and evolving risk trends, proactively highlighting potential impacts to the business.

What you will need

📍2+ years of experience in risk management and/or regulatory compliance, ideally within fintech, financial services, or crypto. 📍Direct professional experience in cryptocurrency 📍Experience with risk and compliance requirements in various EU jurisdictions 📍Demonstrated ability to independently assess moderately complex risk and compliance scenarios and propose practical, scalable solutions. 📍Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into effective controls. 📍Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional and international stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
