Responsibilities
šLead regulatory approval, authorization, and licensing efforts across LATAM jurisdictions, including detailed legal analysis and application management. šDevelop and implement Binanceās strategic regulatory approach tailored to the LATAM market. šPartner closely with business teams to support the launch and growth of new products and services in LATAM, balancing commercial goals with regulatory compliance. šEstablish and maintain strong, effective relationships with LATAM regulators and government authorities. šMonitor, interpret, and communicate regulatory developments and trends in the LATAM cryptocurrency and financial sectors. šProvide clear, practical legal advice to navigate complex LATAM regulatory environments. šTake a proactive, hands-on role in shaping Binanceās regulatory strategy and decision-making in the region.
Requirements
šQualified to practise law in one or more LATAM jurisdictions. šMinimum 6 years post-qualification experience, with significant exposure to financial institutions and regulatory matters in LATAM. šExperience from a reputable law firm combined with relevant in-house legal experience in the LATAM region. šStrong knowledge of financial products including spot trading, margin trading, futures, options, and payments (FIAT channels, PSPs, wallets, etc.) relevant to LATAM markets. šDemonstrated active interest and understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and its regulatory landscape in LATAM.
