Job Summary

What you’ll be doing primarily:

📍Deliver Uphold’s compliance quality assurance programme by overseeing and managing regular assurance testing, documenting results, and drafting reports based on the results. 📍Track highlighted issues and trends to ensure timely remediation. 📍Review existing quality assurance procedures and suggest process improvements as necessary. 📍Serve as a point of escalation for the team and stakeholders across the business. 📍Work proactively to identify control gaps and weaknesses, determine root causes, and propose solutions to remediate weaknesses and mitigate risk. 📍Work independently while establishing solid relationships within the business. 📍Other duties as assigned.

Required qualifications:

📍At least 3 years of experience in a compliance or regulatory audit function within a financial services institution. 📍Experience growing a team, specifically in an operational environment. 📍Experience in an oversight or monitoring team responsible for all associated reporting obligations. 📍Knowledge of US, UK and European AML and CTF regulations and associated regulatory bodies (incl. BSA, OFAC and FinCEN, the FCA, JMLSG, the EU Anti Money Laundering Directives, FATF et al.) 📍Familiarity with common AML and CTF typologies and the three lines of defence model. 📍Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral skills. 📍A self-starter mentality with the ability to take initiative and work independently. 📍Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines. 📍Advanced technical skills and data analysis skills. 📍Fluent written and oral English skills.
