Job Summary

What You Will Do:

šŸ“Guidehouse Quality Assurance (QA) Testers play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions across client engagements. They work closely with developers, analysts, and project managers to design and execute test plans that validate functionality, performance, and usability. Our QA Testers are expected to be detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools. They contribute to the full software development lifecycle and help identify issues early to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction. They also apply automation testing techniques to improve efficiency, coverage, and repeatability across test cycles. Responsibilities include the following: šŸ“Collaborate with development and business teams to understand application requirements and define test strategies. šŸ“Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases. šŸ“Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. šŸ“Document defects clearly and track them through resolution. šŸ“Maintain test documentation including test plans, scripts, and reports. šŸ“Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to align testing with development cycles. šŸ“Support continuous improvement of testing processes and tools. šŸ“Ensure applications meet performance, usability, and accessibility standards. šŸ“Contribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart. šŸ“Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar. šŸ“Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.

What You Will Need:

šŸ“Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. šŸ“Minimum THREE (3) years of professional experience in software testing or QA. šŸ“Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, Postman, or similar. šŸ“Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments. šŸ“Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. šŸ“Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting. šŸ“Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. šŸ“Strong communication and documentation abilities. šŸ“US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust.
