Responsibilities

📍Develop, maintain, and optimize monitoring solutions to ensure visibility into application performance and system health 📍Utilize Bash/Python scripting to automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks across our production environments 📍Respond to and resolve production issues, minimizing impact on customers and ensuring high availability and performance 📍Participate in the design and implementation of infrastructure and applications to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency 📍Conduct root cause analysis of production incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence 📍Collaborate with development teams to advocate for and implement reliability best practices throughout the software development lifecycle 📍Manage cloud-based resources and services, leveraging AWS to enhance our application’s scalability and resilience.

Requirements

📍3-5 years of experience in a support engineering role, with a proven track record of problem-solving in high-availability environments 📍Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and networking principles 📍Proficiency in scripting with Bash and Python 📍Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills 📍Curiosity and eagerness to learn and share knowledge with others 📍Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools 📍Experience with cloud services (preferably AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda 📍Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins) 📍Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
