Thesis* is a crypto venture studio behind the behind Fold, Keep, tBTC, Saddle, and Tally Ho! We’re a fun, down-to-earth, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and fully remote team. We are a cryptocurrency venture studio whose mission is to empower the individual. We seek, fund, and build products and protocols in cryptocurrency and decentralized businesses that enable personal empowerment. Our projects include Keep (now Threshold) Network, a privacy protocol for public blockchains, Fold, for earning Bitcoin on your purchases in the physical and virtual worlds, Saddle, a community owned, open source stablecoin swap protocol, and Tally Ho, a community owned and operated cryptocurrency wallet. Investors in the company include Andreessen Horowitz, Polychain Capital, and Draper Associates, among others. We are a remote-first company, led by founders who have been operating in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space since 2014.
Job Summary
What You’ll Do
📍You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design solutions that meet business and user needs 📍Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and enhance the user experience 📍Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering 📍Maintain our existing design system, and ensure consistency and scalability across our products. And when appropriate, can evolve the design system to support new features and improvements 📍Have a collaborative approach when it comes to working with our developers. Oversee the implementation quality and offer design support whenever the developers need it 📍Work with the cross-functional team to understand the product and our users needs to then visualize concepts for documentation and in the product 📍Setup and run unmoderated and moderated Usability Testing. Be able to run the study from end to end 📍Monitor and manage quantitative data from both our analytics and from our tech support. Have the ability to spot problems and frictions that could turn into a potential new study or insight 📍Use qualitative user insights and quantitative user data to inform design solutions and deliverables 📍Participate in cross-functional brainstorms, discussions, and design reviews 📍Be open to continuously learning new technologies and systems, and transform them into palatable experiences 📍Be comfortable in asking uncomfortable questions 📍Be comfortable to get out of your comfort zone and learn everyday
Requirements
📍Bring 3-5 years of expertise in designing experiences and interactions 📍Capability of compellingly sustain a solution from start to end 📍Flexibility in embracing user feedback and a problem solver mindset. Ability to solve problems efficiently and creatively 📍Clearly communicate design solutions, both visually and written, early and often 📍Portfolio demonstrating both robust UI design and strong visual UX design skills. Showcasing various UX artifacts that amplify your deep knowledge of which UX methodologies you should use and when to apply them 📍Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps 📍Familiarity with Qualitative Research Methodologies 📍Great communication and time management skills that can adapt to a fully remote environment Web3 user, and web3 knowledgeable 📍Be open to unlearn web2 interactions and embrace a new way of thinking
