Job Summary
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
šAs a Platform Engineer, you will own, develop, and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure, supporting developer-run applications, core services, and release engineering. Your role will be pivotal in enabling developers to deploy services easily on a scalable platform while running critical components of the business. Key responsibilities include: šSetup, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure availability, scalability, and reliability. šDeploy and maintain essential Kubernetes core services, including ingress, secrets management, and CNI/CSI. šDesign, implement, and maintain a robust Kubernetes network, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services. šImplement and enforce security best practices within Kubernetes clusters to protect critical infrastructure and applications. šBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD infrastructure to streamline the deployment. šDeploy and maintain large-scale storage and database systems to support business-critical data services. šLead the deployment of new sites, regions, and environments from the ground up, ensuring rapid and reliable availability. šMaintain, upgrade, and enhance existing infrastructure through continuous development, monitoring, and iterative improvements.
YOU COULD BE A GREAT FIT FOR THE ROLE IF YOU HAVE
šTo be successful in this role, you should have a strong technical background and be familiar with modern DevOps and infrastructure tools. Required skills and tools include: šProven track record of deploying and maintaining Kubernetes clusters at scale. šHands-on experience with infrastructure automation and deployment tools like ArgoCD, Flux, Terraform. šKnowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools (GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, etc.). šProficiency in designing and maintaining service-defined networks within Kubernetes, e.g., service mashes like istio. šStrong understanding of Kubernetes security best practices (RBAC, network policies, etc.).
