Job Summary
Your Responsibilities
šDraft, review, and manage routine legal agreements, including NDAs, consultancy agreements, grant agreements, and employment/contractor amendments. šAssist with board and shareholder matters, including preparing board packs, drafting resolutions, maintaining statutory registers, and coordinating filings with Companies House and other registries. šTrack and summarise global legal and regulatory developments in crypto, fintech, and privacy (e.g., MiCA, FINMA, FCA, SEC). šConduct horizon scanning on enforcement actions, policy consultations, and industry trends to flag potential risks and opportunities. šConduct legal research and analysis on various topics, including securities law, intellectual property, data privacy, and more. šContribute to process improvements, including playbooks, trackers, and knowledge management for the Legal team. šLiaise with internal/external stakeholders and act as a point of contact for other teams, external vendors, and counsel. šProvide general legal support as needed, including assisting with corporate governance matters, intellectual property filings, and other ad-hoc legal tasks.
Must-haves:
šLaw degree (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL/CPE). š3 yearsā experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (ideally in a law firm, financial services, or fintech). šDemonstrated experience drafting and reviewing legal agreements. šStrong research, analytical, and writing skills. šAbility to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
