Job Summary
What will you be doing in this role?
šMigration and review of the installer dialogs. šMigration and review of the custom actions. šMigration and review of dynamic file and folder inclusion. šMigration and review of the command line options, including for silent installation and uninstallation. šMigration and review of prerequisites and merge modules. šCreation of work items for User Stories, Tasks, Test Cases, etc. šTrack progress on the work using work items. šTest the new Advanced Installer installation package on multiple operating systems and scenarios. šUpdate the existing Azure DevOps release pipelines from using the šInstallShield installation package to the new Advanced Installer package.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team? šMinimum of 5 years of experience in development of installation packages using CAPHYON Advanced Installer for Microsoft Windows desktop applications. šExperience with Flexera InstallShield. šExperience with scripting in PowerShell. šExperience with Dev(Sec)Ops and Agile software development. šExperience with cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure. šProven ability to integrate and work in a multinational team. šFluent in English at least at a level B1.
