Job Summary (Vacancy is closed)

At BeInCrypto, we create content and products to educate and inspire everyone with crypto & Web3. We generate original content and cover the major news, and make it available in 14 languages. We make it fast and simple. We are much more than a media publication. We also develop educational products and tools and have 4 more products inside our digital nomad backpack: Learn, Rankings, Academy, and Jobs.

Like our products and solutions – our teams are agile, dynamic, and innovative. We work hard, and we have a lot of fun – while keeping up the quality and accuracy for which we’re known. It’s what keeps us inventing and reinventing, all the time. Our culture is wide open, just like our spaces.

We’re on the hunt for an awesome Product Owner to bridge the gap between product and development. Your job will be to work closely with the Product team and translate their business requirements into a comprehensive backlog. This includes creating user stories, setting up Definition of Ready (DOR), Definition of Done (DOD), and Acceptance Criteria (AC) on tickets, facilitating grooming meetings, participating in planning meetings, providing a demo to the Product Team while keeping an eye on dev timelines, product backlogs, ticket quality, and feature quality on Production. This is just a brief overview — there are many exiting challenges!

➔ What you’ll do: ● Own your Dev Jira board and have some fun with it: be sure to give each ticket a super detailed description – following the guidelines, of course; ◦ fill in the custom fields; ◦ get those priorities set; ◦ give each ticket an estimation; ◦ attach an Epic to each one too; ◦ track those Burndown/Up charts and IT velocity regularly. ● Produce frequent Release Notes and Release Plans that come out of Jira. Set up, keep track of, and look after particular folders with Release documents, Release Notes, etc. ● Create, manage and describe user stories and epics, based on the BRDs, WBSs and other requirements that the PdMs provide. ● Host grooming and planning sessions, demos for product managers. ● Gathering all the info needed from all the stakeholders. ● Make sure what we send out is top notch – by testing out the functionality before and after QA. ● Follow our CTO and PdM’s process rules to a T, crafting up epics, user stories, and bugs according to their templates, standards and flows.

➔ It’s a perfect match if you have: ● English at least at C1 level; ● Knowledge on how to set DOD, DOR, AC; ● Experience in creating and describing Epics, User stories, and Bugs; ● Experience of working with Figma, Miro, BurnUp, and BurnDown charts ● Ability to create WBS and BRD by yourself as well as splitting BRD into Epics and user stories; ● Great presentation, facilitation & communication skills; ● SQL, Postman, GIT knowledge; ● You can Present the product/feature to stakeholders; ● Manual testing to be sure QA and IT team did not miss anything; ● You know how to work with SQL, Postman, GIT.

➔ Nice to have ● It will be a plus to have experience working both in a product company and outsourcing. ● It will be a plus if you know how to describe BRDs and WBS for Web products development.

➔‍ What we can offer: ● A true startup experience – flat hierarchy, no bureaucracy, and the opportunity to have a meaningful impact on a growing business. ● A culture of autonomy and accountability. ● A people-focused organization dedicated to making sure you’re maxing out on learning, growth, and impact, and getting recognized for the great work you do along the way. ● Constant growth opportunities. ● The chance to join a stellar team of talents and learn from them. ● We have team members in 60 countries all over the world! Wherever you go, you can meet someone from the BeInCrypto family.

➔‍ About your BeInCrypto team: ● Formally, you will be a part of the Product Team and you will report to the Head of Product, but you will work with the IT team on a regular basis. ● We currently have several active products: Learn, Ceranking, and News – which we are still working on, as well as several new products. ● You will start working with those that are already on Prod (You can check our website to investigate). ● When we say Product Owner, please don’t consider this a typical Scrum role – once you join our team, you can choose any title 🙂

➔‍ Hiring flow: If you feel that being a Product Owner at BeInCrypto is your dream job, send us your CV in English.

● An interview with our recruiter: we will learn more about each other. ● Small challenge: will help both of us find out if it’s indeed a perfect match. ● An interview with our Head of IT and manager advisor: you will get to know people to work with and will dive into all the job details. ● Final catch-up call with the Head of Product. ● Join our BIC creative team and take your professional experience to the next level!
