Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šDevelop and execute marketing strategies: Create and implement a cohesive marketing plan to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and customer retention for Anichess. šBrand positioning and messaging: Define and communicate Anichess's unique value proposition, ensuring consistent and compelling brand messaging across all marketing channels. šDigital marketing campaigns: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC), social media advertising, email marketing, and content marketing to drive website traffic and user engagement. šContent creation and management: Collaborate with the content team to develop high-quality marketing collateral, including website content, blog posts, social media content, videos, and other promotional materials. šSocial media management: Oversee and manage Anichess's presence on various social media platforms, engaging with the community, and driving engagement and brand advocacy. šPublic relations and partnerships: Establish and nurture relationships with relevant industry influencers, media outlets, and strategic partners to enhance brand visibility and drive user acquisition. šAnalytics and reporting: Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, website metrics, user behavior, and customer feedback to optimize marketing strategies and drive data-driven decision-making. šresearch and competitive analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, conduct market research, and analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market. šTeam leadership and coordination: Manage a marketing team, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
Requirements:
šBachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. šProven experience (8+ years) in marketing roles, preferably in the tech or education industry. šStrong understanding of digital marketing channels, techniques, and best practices. šDemonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and revenue growth. šExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content. šProficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms to measure and optimize campaign performance. šFamiliarity with chess and/or the chess community is a plus. šAbility to work in a fast-paced startup environment, multitask, and meet deadlines.
