Job description

What you'll be doing: • Localisation: Localise our products, content & all customer-facing materials in non-English languages while improving localisation quality & efficiency over time. • Manage delivery of projects: Coordinate closely with internal teams including but not limited to product, marketing & business development; external agencies, and local team members who’re on the ground in non-English markets. • Improve localisation quality: Coordinate and act as a primary point of contact with our local community to review and improve localisation quality based on clearly defined business goals. • Improve localisation workflows: Act as the go-to expert in the business and continuously seek to improve localisation workflows & efficiencies. Particularly you will partner with our engineering team members, improve our TMS and translation debt over time, and manage existing and new agencies to improve how we work together. • Manage local outreach: Coordinate with our marketing and local communities to amplify the reach of our localized products and content through various channels such as emails, social media, PR, outreach and more. • Business alignment: Define how we’re tracking towards OKRs and when needed scope out new requirements including details such as impact, timelines & potential risks. • Flawless execution: Personally ensure & coordinate the development of all the above in a timely manner, and continue to improve quality & speed of the team’s deliverables. What we look for in you: • You are a localisation expert with 4+ years of relevant experience, with an interest in building in-house expertise with product & marketing teams. Bonus if you’ve done this already. • You have managed a large team of freelancers and/or agency relationships. Bonus if you’ve managed full-time employees. • Impact-driven and persistent: You’re motivated by moving the needle meaningfully, especially during times when it requires persistence and courage. • Entrepreneurial: You have a proven ability to build from scratch. Ability and desire to operate resourcefully, independently and with urgency. • Analytical: You have the ability to translate data into insights, and earn the respect of team members around you by translating insights into clearly defined plans. • Operational excellence: You have a keen eye for detail and an exceptionally high bar for accuracy and quality. Similarly you hold your team to that level of standards. • Strong opinions, loosely held: Ability to articulate POV with clarity, humility, and a willingness to question one’s own assumptions / desire to constantly improve. • People leadership: Ability to lead with influence and build strong, productive relationships with various working styles and characteristics. • Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets are a huge plus. • Integrity and trustworthiness. • Excellent written and verbal skills in English.
