Job Summary

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

📍Use adult learning principles to creatively design, develop, and facilitate quality onboarding programs and processes with both individual and organizational impact 📍Own cross-functional processes and relationships with People Operations, IT, Payroll and Benefits, to ensure new hires have all of the resources and equipment they need to be successful 📍Evaluate learning program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and participant feedback, analyzing the results to identify strengths as well as areas of improvement 📍Monitor new hire support channels (Starting Block Slack channels) and address new hire inquiries 📍Identify, coordinate, and support guest speakers from the business to effectively facilitate New Hire Orientation sessions 📍Establish collaborative relationships with other Learning & Development and People Success Team members 📍Support the development, design and delivery of programs, modules, and content to support global skills and competencies 📍Maintain learning resources in our internal systems and tools (Docebo, Articulate 360, Confluence, GSuite, Asana) 📍Facilitate team effectiveness workshops to diverse audiences and levels at Coinbase offsites, summits, and events 📍Embody the Coinbase culture tenets on a consistent basis and set an example for new joiners Support other learning initiatives as needed

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

📍4+ years of formal learning and development or training-related experience 📍Strong presentation and facilitation skills 📍Knowledge of adult learning theory and best practices 📍Experience developing learning materials (e.g. interactive e-learning, presentations, videos, guides, etc.) 📍Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate across all organizational levels 📍Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with the ability to learn quickly 📍Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices 📍Flexibility and adaptability amid an ever-changing environment 📍Willingness to travel up to 15% of the year
