Job Summary
Responsibilities:
📍Analyse large volumes of transactional and user data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies indicative of fraudulent behaviour. Use this analysis to suggest possible countermeasures to emerging fraudulent typologies. 📍Conduct ongoing monitoring and evaluation of risk factors, adjusting models and strategies as necessary to adapt to evolving threats and regulatory requirements. 📍Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, and Compliance to integrate risk mitigation strategies into our platform's infrastructure and processes. 📍Design and maintain data pipelines for efficient data collection, processing, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity throughout the process. 📍Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and dashboards. 📍Fulfil ad-hoc data requests from Risk and Compliance teams 📍Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in risk management and fraud detection within the cryptocurrency industry.
Qualifications:
📍Bachelor's or advanced degree in STEM field from a top-tier university. 📍Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and JavaScript, along with experience using libraries and frameworks for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow). 📍Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and experimental design, with the ability to apply these concepts to real-world problems. 📍Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrency protocols, and the unique challenges associated with fraud and risk in the crypto space. 📍 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think critically and creatively. 📍Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 📍 Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-structured, and dynamic environment with tight deadlines and evolving priorities
