Job Summary
Your Core Responsibilities:
šBuild, as part of a team, a full technology stack that supports power and gas trading, including exchange connectivity, trading systems, trading strategies, data analysis, and pricing. We are looking for strong developers that specialised in back-end, algorithms, trading systems, execution systems or other relevant domains. šMaintain and improve the tech stack in collaboration with trading. šTrain new joiners.
Your Skills and Experience:
šStrong academic background, preferably in computer science or a quantitative field. š2+ years of professional experience as a software engineer šExperience European power and gas trading industry is a plus šStrong programming skills in Java. Experience with other relevant programming languages such as Python or C++ is considered a plus. šExcitement for working in a start-up environment and a variety of systems/platforms/tools šThe ability able to work on greenfield projects under minimal supervision and to take full ownership of the applications you build šA high degree of flexibility and adaptability: willing and able to deal with uncertainty and ambiguity in a rapidly evolving environment
