Job Summary
What will you be bringing to the team?
šLead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade Java applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability šEvaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks for Java-based applications and stay up-to-date with emerging trends šDesign and implement system integrations, Microservices architecture, and APIs to connect various components and services šEstablish best practices for coding standards, design patterns, and code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code šMentor and guide developers, helping them solve complex technical challenges and fostering a culture of technical excellence šWork closely with stakeholders, Project Managers, Analysts, Clients and other Architects to align the technical direction with business goals šIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and optimized application performance šCreate and maintain technical documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and development processes
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position? šBachelor's or Masterās degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field šMinimum 8 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in an Architectural role šExtensive knowledge of Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate šExperience with Microservices architecture and Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud šProficiency in designing RESTful APIs and web services šSolid understanding of databases and experience with database optimization šKnowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines šStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills šExcellent communication and team collaboration abilities šExperience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) would be an asset šKnowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React would be an adva
