Job Summary
What will you be bringing to the team?
📍Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-grade Java applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability 📍Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks for Java-based applications and stay up-to-date with emerging trends 📍Design and implement system integrations, Microservices architecture, and APIs to connect various components and services 📍Establish best practices for coding standards, design patterns, and code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code 📍Mentor and guide developers, helping them solve complex technical challenges and fostering a culture of technical excellence 📍Work closely with stakeholders, Project Managers, Analysts, Clients and other Architects to align the technical direction with business goals 📍Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and optimized application performance 📍Create and maintain technical documentation for system architecture, design specifications, and development processes
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position? 📍Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 📍Minimum 8 years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years in an Architectural role 📍Extensive knowledge of Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate 📍Experience with Microservices architecture and Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 📍Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and web services 📍Solid understanding of databases and experience with database optimization 📍Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines 📍Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills 📍Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities 📍Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) would be an asset 📍Knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular or React would be an adva
