Job Summary

Responsibilities:

šŸ“Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of fintech-related issues, including payments, digital currencies, blockchain technology, and financial services. šŸ“Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies to support business goals and mitigate risks. šŸ“Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the companyā€™s products, services, and operations. šŸ“Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to financial services, data privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection. šŸ“Monitor regulatory developments and provide updates and training to the organization on compliance requirements. šŸ“Liaise with regulatory authorities and manage regulatory inquiries and examinations. šŸ“Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of contracts, including partnership agreements, technology licensing agreements, and service agreements. šŸ“Develop and maintain contract templates and processes to ensure efficiency and consistency. šŸ“Support the General Counsel in corporate governance matters, including board meetings, corporate filings, and shareholder communications. šŸ“Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and best practices. šŸ“Manage and oversee litigation and dispute resolution matters, including working with outside counsel, preparing legal documents, and representing the company in legal proceedings. šŸ“Develop and implement strategies for resolving disputes efficiently and effectively. šŸ“Identify potential legal risks related to fintech operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. šŸ“Conduct internal audits and investigations as needed.

Qualifications:

šŸ“Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school and an active bar license šŸ“Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, with a focus on fintech and financial services law. šŸ“Exceptional judgment for weighing inputs and evaluating potential courses of action šŸ“Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and manage deadlines šŸ“Outstanding verbal and written communication skills šŸ“Strategic acumen and excellent problem-solving capabilities
