Socket is focused on abstracting blockchain complexities and resolve fragmentation issues that developers and users experience in the modular ecosystem.

Job Summary

What are the role responsibilities?

📍Manage all communications and brand building activities. 📍Build Socket’s strategic positioning and drive narrative in the market. 📍Build and expand distribution channels for Socket including events, social media, KOLs, media & more. 📍Educate the broader space regarding chain abstraction & how Socket enables it. 📍Build and manage a content production machine and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality pieces are consistently released on Socket’s owned channels. 📍Position leadership and team members for high external visibility at conferences, podcasts, Twitter spaces and through content. 📍Nurture relationships with major relevant news outlet, podcast, youtube channels, twitter KOLs and other mediums relevant to Socket 📍Build and manage an efficient and lean team to ensure marketing operations are reliably conducted

What skills do you bring?

📍Previous experience leading communications and marketing efforts for a crypto project. Bonus points if you have been a part of rollups or projects in the modular ecosystem. 📍3+ years of experience leading marketing in leading crypto projects 📍Strong understanding of marketing channels and tactics, especially how these channels are used in the web3 industry. You should be an expert in the unique strategies required to grow web3 projects. 📍Excellent communication and writing skills (in English), with experience creating marketing collateral, such as blogs, case studies, and whitepapers. 📍Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 📍Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities. 📍Sufficient technical understanding to effectively communicate our value prop and products, including to semi-technical audiences. 📍Sufficient industry knowledge to understand where our brand fits in and identify potential relationships & collaboration opportunities. 📍Highly autonomous and intrinsically motivated. You’re prepared to take responsibility and make decisions. You tell us (not ask us) what we need when it comes to marketing.
