Job Summary
What You’ll Be Doing
📍Lead the development and maintenance of policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and other materials from a regulatory compliance perspective to ensure adherence with MAS regulations applicable to Major Payment Institution license holders. 📍Monitor and assess compliance with laws, regulations and policies, and report areas of concern to management and the Board where needed. 📍Proactively build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, and serve as the primary point of contact. 📍Direct compliance reviews and investigations, and ensure sufficient resources are in place to provide appropriate coverage of the entity's compliance programme. 📍Maintain oversight of the timely submission of Compliance reports, including reports to management and the board, and other materials as required. 📍Lead special projects and uplift efforts as needed, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 📍Engage cross-functionally (with groups such as Data, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Product, and Risk) to implement an effective compliance management program in line with the global standards and industry best practices. 📍Provide sound, coherent and commercially minded advice and compliance support on all matters relating to OKX Singapore's activities.
What We Look For In You
📍Bachelor's degree in law, finance, business or a related field. 📍At least 10 years of solid experience in compliance within the financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries, including experience serving as the primary point of contact with a regulator. 📍At least 5 years proven track record in leading and managing a team. 📍Deep understanding of relevant Singapore laws and MAS regulatory requirements (AML/CFT, sanctions, consumer protection, privacy) and experience leading regulatory engagements. 📍Experience in dealing with audits and/or regulatory examinations. 📍Comprehensive understanding of compliance-related systems such as name screening, customer risk ranking, on-chain transaction monitoring etc. 📍Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. 📍Proven ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 📍Strong English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
