Job Summary
What You'll Be Doing
šCompensation & Token Strategy Leadership: Subject matter expert in compensation, token incentives, allocations, and compliance. Develop and implement a holistic compensation strategy/philosophy that aligns with our business goals, including equity and token programs. Partner with Finance, Legal, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and optimize token distribution strategies. šPeople Analytics & Operations Excellence: šLead the development of advanced people analytics dashboards to track and assess key metrics such as headcount, retention, turnover, benefits usage, and overall compensation effectiveness. Drive the creation and execution of initiatives that enhance People Operations processes for efficiency and scalability. šBenchmarking: šConduct compensation benchmarking using crypto-native and traditional data sources, ensuring alignment across base salary, bonus, token grants, and vesting structures relative to market standards in Web3 and tech. šEOR Provider Strategy & Assessment: šLead the evaluation and optimization of external HR service providers (e.g., Deel, Toku), assessing service quality, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business needs in close collaboration with the Head of People Services. šCross-functional Collaboration & Influence: šServe as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the Board, senior leadership and other business functions, ensuring alignment across departments on compensation-related strategies. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to implement and communicate people initiatives effectively across the organization. šBusiness & Finance Partnership: šCollaborate closely with the Finance team to deliver comprehensive compensation and benefits cost analysis with a strong focus on OpEx optimisation. Provide strategic input on payroll, benefits structure, tax implications, and overall compensation strategy. Lead 401k and benefits cost-benefit analysis, as well as flexible time-off models, to ensure competitive and cost-effective solutions.
What We Look For in You
š10+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, or People Operations, with a proven track record in leading compensation strategy for high-growth companies. šDeep expertise in compensation design, token incentives, compliance, and managing equity programs (RTUs, RSUs, etc.), ideally in the crypto or technology space. Prior experience transacting on-chain and managing crypto wallets is a strong plus. šProven experience in leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, global, remote-first environments, with a focus on compensation and benefits strategy. šAdvanced proficiency in HR systems (preferably HiBob) and data analytics tools, with the ability to design and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive business decisions. šStrong financial acumen and experience managing compensation budgets, including payroll, benefits, and cost-benefit analysis. šExceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and data-driven approach to policy development and compensation optimization. šStrategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to independently identify gaps, implement solutions, and influence decision-making at the executive level.
