Responsibilities

📍Oversee all business and operational activities of the FCM to provide customers with access to cleared derivatives products. 📍Work closely with the operations, technology, risk, legal and compliance team in order to lead the completion of the licensing process and the launch of the FCM. 📍Oversee the FCMs operational compliance with CFTC and NFA regulatory requirements 📍.Develop high quality business strategies and plans to align with the short-term and long-term objectives of the business enterprise. 📍Supervise the sales and marketing functions of the FCM. 📍Build and maintain strong relationships and be the point of contact for key partners, vendors and stakeholders. 📍Liaise with industry regulatory bodies and ensure all requirements, including daily and monthly reporting are completed. 📍Maintain a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape, products and market factors that impact the firm.

Requirements and skills

📍Proven experience in a managerial position in the regulated derivatives industry. 📍Experience in developing sound business strategies and implementation of the business plan. 📍Familiarity with diverse business functions such as operations, technology, risk, marketing, sales, finance, etc. 📍In-depth knowledge of the regulated derivatives markets including futures, forex, swaps and options and the cross-border offering of such products from the US. 📍Knowledge or desire to gain in depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency and digital asset markets. 📍Strong reputation and connections with potential customers of the FCM, including financial institutions, swap dealers, proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, and cryptocurrency miners and market participants.
