Scaling solutions that Polygon Labs initially developed have seen widespread adoption with tens of thousands of decentralized apps, unique addresses exceeding 225 million, over 1.2 million smart contracts created and 2.56 billion total transactions processed since inception. The existing Polygon network is home for some of the biggest Web3 projects, such as Aave, Uniswap, and OpenSea, and well-known enterprises, including Robinhood, Stripe and Adobe. Polygon Labs is carbon neutral with the goal of leading Web3 in becoming carbon negative.

šBuild the Future of DeFi: Architect, develop, and maintain powerful web applications integrated with Katanaās cutting-edge Layer 2 blockchain infrastructure. šDesign with Empathy: Create beautiful, responsive interfaces that simplify complex DeFi concepts for real-world users. šEngineer the Backbone: Develop robust backend systems and APIs that interact with smart contracts, manage blockchain data, and scale to meet user demand. šCollaborate Across the Stack: Partner closely with protocol and smart contract engineers to bring DeFi primitives (AMMs, lending, farming, and more) to the frontend in seamless, elegant ways. šTame the Blockchain Firehose: Optimize data pipelines and application performance to handle high-throughput activity and real-time blockchain data. šSecure the Edge: Implement wallet connections, authentication flows, and security best practices that users can trust. šStay on the Edge: Keep tabs on the latest developments in DeFi, Layer 2 scaling, and the ever-evolving web3 landscape ā and bring those insights back to the product.
What You'll Need
šFull-Stack Fluency: 6ā8+ years of experience building full-stack web applications ā from polished frontends to production-grade backends. šWeb3 Warrior: 4+ years hands-on with blockchain protocols, smart contracts, or web3 dev tools. šFrontend Firepower: Deep expertise with modern JS frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.js. šBackend Mastery: Comfortable with Node.js, REST APIs, microservices, and containerized stacks (Docker, Kubernetes). šDatabase Dexterity: You speak fluent SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firestore). šSmart Contract Savvy: Able to read Solidity, integrate EVM-based contracts, and understand core blockchain concepts. šTeam-First Mentality: Proven success in agile teams, with a passion for shipping fast and making data-driven decisions.
