Job Summary
What will you be bringing to the team?
šContribution to the production of updated greenhouse gas and air pollutant emission estimates at global level, incorporating latest available information on technologies and abatement measures for various sectors šContribution to the development of consumption-based estimates in EDGAR, incorporating data from GTAP, UN Comtrade and other relevant sector specific data sources šSupport the development of EDGAR emission scenarios šProvide support for data analysis of EDGAR products šContribution to additional EDGAR activities, upon request, such as to the yearly EDGAR booklet.
Requirements
šWhat do you need to succeed in this position? šMaster Degree + 3 years of relevant professional experience šCapacity to write clear and structured technical documentation šDeep knowledge in provision of technical evaluations šExperience in data analysis and modelling, in particular related to emissions estimation šExperience in quality assessment provision šKnowledge of statistical inference methods and high-end analytics (data mining and classification methods)
