Job Summary
What you’ll do
📍Define technical roadmaps, and work with a product manager to groom the backlog factoring in technical debt and prioritisation of impactful services. 📍Lead, grow, and inspire your team to perform at the highest level, and successfully delivering their best in a fast-paced environment 📍Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure agile practices are effectively implemented and continuously improved. 📍Work closely with other managers, stakeholders, and teams across the organisation to ensure that the microservices architecture aligns with the broader company objectives. 📍Perform regular 1:1 with your team members to develop career plans and goals. Help your team to maintain resilience in periods of change and ambiguity
Who you are
📍You already bring great track record working in the payments domain and want to scale that to over 24 million+ end users 📍You have the ability to lead teams effectively, provide guidance in ambiguous situations, influence technical discussions and are able to contribute to the development and future growth of software engineers 📍You have experience in a technical leadership role with demonstrated deep knowledge of the development of digital products, good understanding of software architecture all the way from experimentation to continuous improvement in an agile environment 📍Capability to perform regular performance reviews and derive new development goals or improvement strategies. Hands-on personality, self-driven, somebody who likes to be involved rather sitting on the sidelines 📍Familiarity with PHP/Java, DevOps infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code, Apache Kafka, Message Driven Microservices is a huge bonus
