Responsibilities:

📍Be accountable for growing BitGo’s business, by building the best system for Institutions 📍Collaborate with Product, Trust, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to set the product and technical vision to successfully execute against the same. 📍Provide regular coaching to your team and the broader engineering department 📍Take direct responsibility for quality and delivery of the team’s work 📍Manage end-to-end availability and performance of critical services 📍Encourage best practices in engineering design and usability, leading by example 📍Facilitate thorough documentation and knowledge sharing 📍Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives 📍Work closely with company leadership to identify upcoming opportunities and risks 📍Actively foster an engineering-wide culture that embodies our values of open communication, collaboration, accountability, craftsmanship, and a client-first approach. 📍Coordinate with stakeholders in the US and other global locations. This potentially involves taking calls in the PST/ EST timezone to keep in sync with your geographically distributed team.

Required Skills & Experience:

📍8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, 2+ years in a managerial role. 📍Experience in crypto, professional or personal, or an interest in the same. 📍Experience successfully onboarding onto a new organization as a manager. 📍Track record of sourcing and hiring top engineering talent, including managerial talent. 📍Proven success leading engineering-wide initiatives.
