Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šLead the development, and implementation of secure and efficient custody solutions for various cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks. šCollaborate with the Head of Custody and Trading and Wallet Technology Engineers to define technical strategy and roadmap for custody, deposits, and withdrawals. šMentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. šDrive the integration of new cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks into our custody infrastructure. šOptimize the efficiency and reliability of deposit and withdrawal processes, ensuring fast and seamless transactions. šConduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and regulatory compliance. šTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to custody and wallet operations. šOverseeing our build, test, integration and deployment systems, and in partnership with our Dev-ops engineers managing platform change. šStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, cryptography, and digital asset security. šContribute to the overall design and evolution of BitMEX's platform.
Qualifications:
šBachelorās degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline. šAt least 8 years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role focused on cryptocurrency. šDeep understanding of blockchain technologies, cryptographic principles, and digital asset security best practices. šProven experience designing and implementing secure and scalable custody solutions. šStrong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python.
