Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. Weā€™re growing ā€“ quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

šŸ“Coordinate with team to understand project requirements and objectives and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. šŸ“Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to determine project viability and potential challenges. šŸ“Design electrical systems, circuits, and components in accordance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. šŸ“Manage procurement of electrical equipment and materials, including vendor selection, negotiation, and purchasing. šŸ“Supervise and provide technical guidance to electrical engineering teams, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards. šŸ“Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. šŸ“Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project goals are met. šŸ“Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, and construction managers, to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. šŸ“Prepare and present regular progress reports, project updates, and financial analyses to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.

šŸ“Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; master's degree preferred. šŸ“Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable. šŸ“Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on project management. šŸ“Strong understanding of Bitcoin mining hardware, power distribution, and cooling systems. šŸ“Knowledge of medium and high voltage electrical systems and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues. šŸ“Proven track record of successfully managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. šŸ“In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, standards, and practices. šŸ“Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools. šŸ“Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
