Job Summary
You Will:
šLead the product design team shaping Roblox Studio and Content products. šSet design vision and strategy: define and communicate Studio-centric goals, success metrics, roadmaps, and long-term direction for immersive, always-on experiences. šInspire and mentor a diverse team of designers, raising the bar for craft. šBuild deep partnerships across Product, Engineering, Content Design, and Research to deliver seamless, delightful Studio journeys. šRepresent Design in leadership forums, executive reviews, and partner conversations. šDrive cross-functional alignment on features impacting safety, civil interaction, accessibility, and product innovation. šEnsure the implementation of robust design systems and reusable component patterns for scale and consistency. šChampion experimentation, fast iteration, and data-driven decision making. šTranslate abstract ideas into actionable features, ensuring quality delivery from concept to launch. šElevate design standards and system adoption across the org; share best practices and coach others.
You Have:
š8+ years experience in product design with 5+ years managing senior-level design leaders and designers. šProven leadership in building, growing, and mentoring design teams focused on large-scale, complex products. šTrack record of delivering industry-leading Creation experiences across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop, console, XR, etc.). šExceptional craft in visual, motion, prototyping, or 3D design for interactive experiences. šSkilled in design systems: advocate for holistic component strategies, governance, and scalable documentation. šStrategic thinking coupled with a systems mindset; able to connect day-to-day work to broader vision and business goals. šCollaborative, inquisitive, and resilientāskilled at navigating organizational complexity and influencing outcomes. šOutstanding verbal, visual, and written communicator with executive presence.
