We are looking for a founding software engineer to join us to build at the cutting edge of the intersection of crypto and fintech. You will have the opportunity to deliver massive impact at a small and quickly growing company that is funded by some of the top investors in fintech and crypto; you would be joining at the earliest possible time. Many of our engineers are based in NYC but we are open to fully remote candidates.
Job Summary
What you'll do
šDesign and implement a company-wide risk management framework (operational, regulatory, financial, liquidity, cyber, reputational). šMaintain risk register, conduct risk assessments, and lead quarterly risk reviews with executive leadership and the Board. šOversee internal controls, segregation of duties, and risk mitigation strategies. šMonitor stablecoin-specific risks including reserve management, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, and smart contract risks. šLead global compliance strategy across relevant jurisdictions (e.g., US, EU MiCA, UK, Singapore, etc.). šOversee AML/KYC, sanctions compliance, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting. šServe as primary liaison with regulators, auditors, banking partners, and external counsel. šDevelop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training programs. šPrepare for and manage regulatory exams and audits. šEnsure adherence to emerging stablecoin-specific regulatory frameworks.
What we're looking for
š8ā12+ years of experience in risk, compliance, strategy, or operations in fintech, payments, digital assets, or regulated financial services. šExperience interacting directly with financial regulators. šDeep understanding of AML/BSA, sanctions regimes, and global regulatory frameworks. šStrong knowledge of stablecoins, digital assets, custody models, and reserve structures.
