Some of your key responsibilities in this role will include:

📍Oversee legal reviews and provide counsel on Swyftx’s product, marketing, and sales initiatives. 📍Offer guidance on compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks, including Australian Financial Services Licensing (AFSL) laws. 📍Review, negotiate, and draft various commercial agreements. 📍Support the General Counsel on major projects and corporate initiatives. 📍Monitor regulatory changes and provide relevant reports to the Executive team. 📍Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and operational excellence in corporate legal processes and execution.

To be successful you will have:

📍Relevant post-qualification experience, ideally from a top-tier law firm or related in-house environment. 📍Substantial experience with AFSL law and financial services regulatory matters, gained from private practice or in-house roles. 📍A strong understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory landscapes, with a preference for corporate or technology-focused practice groups. 📍Knowledge of crypto regulatory frameworks and a willingness to contribute to shaping Swyftx’s policy positioning. 📍Ownership mindset with accountability end-to-end and the ability to seek support when needed. 📍Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the capacity to provide clear, practical advice tailored to diverse audiences. 📍Strong project management and organisational abilities, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
