Job Summary
You Will:
šBuild high-performance data pipelines and real-time streaming systems that support both online and offline ML features, training data and statistical computation at scale. šDesign and scale robust data infrastructure for powering retrieval and ranking of various ads systems across Roblox šEnsure data systems are reliable, observable, privacy-compliant, and performant under heavy concurrency and high throughput. šPartner with ML and backend engineers to define scalable interfaces and enable rapid iteration for model development and experimentation. šPartner with our Data Platform and Data Infra teams to build our high quality data processing workflows. šContribute to internal platforms and tools that abstract complexity, improve developer productivity, and accelerate innovation. šBe a tech lead and mentor junior engineers šSelf-organize and take ownership of projects throughout their full lifecycle.
You Have:
š7+ years of work experience building production-grade, scalable, and reliable data systems šSolid programming skills in languages such as Python and strong knowledge of SQL šStrong expertise in developing large-scale data pipelines (batch and streaming) and big-data processing technologies such as Spark, Apache Druid, Flink, Ray, Kubeflow, etc šExcellent cross-functional collaboration skills; enjoy building systems that enable and accelerate team productivity šData-driven focus for quality metrics and monitoring
