Job Summary

Responsibilities

šŸ“Serve as one of the primary legal points of contact for US monitorship-related matters. šŸ“Provide legal guidance and counsel in coordination with cross-functional teams to effectively respond to the ongoing monitoring by the government-appointed monitorship of the Anti-Money Laundering and sanctions compliance programs. šŸ“- Assist in handling ongoing litigations, arbitrations, and investigations. šŸ“Partner closely with cross-functional and regional teams, supporting on complex legal matters of diverse complexity, sensitivity, and significance. šŸ“Review and analyze monitorship reports, findings, and recommendations to ensure timely and effective responses. šŸ“Take charge of external communication with external counsels and negotiate with the opposition. šŸ“Support the development and implementation of legal strategies to reduce the risk of disputes while balancing against the organizationā€™s overall business strategy. šŸ“Be responsible for drafting and reviewing litigation and arbitration documents, including discovery responses, dispositive motions, expert reports, and settlement agreements.

Requirements

šŸ“Qualified lawyer with 5-10 years of experience at a reputable global law firm. šŸ“In-house experience is a plus. šŸ“A proven history in litigation and contentious regulatory matters. šŸ“Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state. šŸ“A comprehensive understanding of both AML and sanctions compliance programs. šŸ“Robust analytical skills with an eye for detail. šŸ“Capable of working proactively in both independent and team environments. šŸ“Excellent written and oral communication skills.
