What are the role responsibilities?

📍Provide practical commercial support to our business development and partnership teams (including working on complex agreements and templatizing repeat agreements), working collaboratively and building a strong line of communication with stakeholders across the organization. 📍Provide thoughtful, timely and practical legal advice to internal partners on various matters, with a focus on commercial and corporate law. 📍Provide prompt, actionable advice to our People team related to hiring, employment, and non-cash compensation. 📍Manage the company’s intellectual property portfolio, including working on trademark, copyright, and licensing matters. 📍Look around corners and creatively solve problems for the business as it plans, builds, and executes its transactional and product roadmap. 📍Be a business partner, not just an attorney.

What skills do you bring?

📍Current license in a U.S. state or international jurisdiction with JD or applicable equivalent, with three or more years of relevant transactional experience at a leading law firm, or comparable in house practice. 📍Experience structuring complex transactions and negotiating and drafting commercial agreements with strategic partners. 📍Excellent judgment, analytic rigor, and business pragmatism. 📍Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. 📍Startup / tech experience either as a client or in house.
