Job Summary
Responsibilities:
📍Direct the company’s accounting practices and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with the most applicable standards under GAAP / ASC-606 (bonus for SaaS expertise). 📍Maintain full ownership of the General Ledger, including all journal entries and ongoing maintenance of balance sheet schedules, bank/credit reconciliations, etc. 📍Execute on a systematic and timely monthly closing process; produce a financial “package” for internal stakeholders and BOD. 📍Help improve upon existing financial policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of standard for internal controls. 📍Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with stakeholders from the Sales, Customer Success, and Product/Engineering teams. 📍Partner with outside accounting firms to engage in tax planning, yearly filing, ongoing state/federal compliance, and annual audit. 📍Manage the day-to-day accounting operations (AR; AP; Invoicing/Billing; Commissions; Documentation), while simultaneously looking for efficiency improvements. 📍Manage payroll administration in collaboration with the People Ops team.
