Avant Arte wants to make art radically more accessible for a new generation. The company began as a cult blog of contemporary artists and grew organically into the worldās largest and most engaged online art community, with more than 2 million of their followers under the age of 35. We collaborate with iconic contemporary artists like Jenny Holzer, Cai Guo-Qiang, Claire Tabouret and Hank Willis Thomas, making their work more accessible to younger collectors through sculpture editions, print editions and unique works on paper of exceptional quality. We have built a highly engaged community of next-generation art collectors, which means our artist launches are heavily oversubscribed, with many behaving more like fashion drops, selling out in under 30 seconds. Job Summary
Core responsibilities include:
šCreating on-brand visual and written content at the highest level of quality, to support the launch of limited edition artworks šDeveloping innovative concepts and campaign proposals for collaborations with artists and institutions šWriting pitches and briefs which articulate your ideas precisely and compellingly šProactively leading, and contributing to, wider projects and initiatives that help keep Avant Arteās content a reference point, connect editions with audiences in new ways and amplify the brand šLead film and stills shoots, both remotely and sometimes on-location in the UK šWorking effectively and collaboratively with other teams across the business, from artist liaisons to our printmaking studio šDelivering assets and copy for website and social media, plus considered, concise and clear front-end page builds in CMS šProviding content and copy support to marketing and wider business, where required šUsing insights to guide iterative optimisations to improve your own and the wider teams output šWorking strategically to manage multiple projects concurrently šCollaborating with writers, photographers, videographers, editors and producers
