Job Summary
Your mission will be:
šAssist the country Compliance Officer with the implementation of the compliance programme in South Africa, to comply with the regulatory obligations imposed by the local regulators (FSCA and FIC); šFacilitate the country Compliance Officer to perform compliance tasks including horizon scanning, gap analysis, policy drafting, compliance and AML/CFT risk assessments, compliance training materials and any other compliance related tasks; šAssist the country Compliance Officer to manage the relationship between Luno South Africa and the regulators and law enforcement agencies on compliance related matters; šWork closely with Luno South Africa and the global teams, finding ways to offer amazing products and services to our customers that meet our regulatory obligations; and šWork closely with the Anti-Financial Crime, Legal and Onboarding teams, providing on-the-ground support for compliance related matters.
In your first six months, you will:
šImmerse yourself in Luno, ensuring you have a deep understanding of our business and our customers; šDevelop strong relationships across the Luno team, and with key third parties; and šBecome a trusted expert in all aspects of Lunoās Compliance programme, always with an eye to continuous improvement.
