Job Summary
Technical Skills:
šHas deep technical knowledge of communications, executive communications, brand messaging, thought leadership, media, social media, crisis communications, and presentation best practices and strategy to best position Anchorage Digital in the public realm. šApplies deep writing, presentation, and communication skills and best practices to craft materials, write talks, and coach speakers to communicate Anchorageās value proposition and perspective effectively to broad audiences. šUses knowledge of publications, conferences, social media, and media landscape to optimally execute external campaigns. For campaigns that include media - uses extensive media relationships and knowledge of crypto, institutional investment, and mainstream media landscape to execute on a best-in-class media strategy. šEstablish and promote the companyās thought leadership by crafting expert content and securing speaking engagements, industry features, and other visibility opportunities.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
šDevelop and implement communication strategies that align with company business objectives and marketing goals and brand vision. šCreate messaging frameworks that effectively communicate our value proposition to our clients and other external stakeholders, and differentiate our brand in the marketplace. šTracks and reports on KPIs such as engagement metrics and content effectiveness šUses data and insights to inform and refine communication strategies and improved future performance. šAccountable for managing and generating value from agency partners.
Organizational Knowledge:
šPlays a leadership role in defining Anchorage Digitalās brand messaging and thought leadership strategy and independently leads and implements strategic communications initiatives to support the strategy. šPromotes a shared understanding of the needs of Anchorage and strategic direction to rally cross-functional teams. Develops and implements programs, projects and processes aligned with Anchorage strategic direction and needs.
Communication and Influence:
šCollaborates closely with sales, product, business lines, and other cross functional stakeholders to develop messaging and content that support brand stewardship and client engagement. šProvides regulator communication updates and tools for internal teams, including sales enablement resources for communications programs (like FAQs) šIs engaging, easy to approach and builds appropriate rapport, with diplomacy and tact, and recognized as a technical leader whose knowledge, ideas and critical thinking impact the strategic direction of Anchorage. šCreates formal networks with key decision makers and serves as external spokesperson for Anchorage.
You may be a fit for this role if you:
šHave 10+ years of communications, executive communications, brand messaging, thought leadership, media, social media, crisis communications, and presentation best practices and strategy in blockchain, technology, fintech, or banking/investment sectors. šProven ability to create, manage, and execute strategic communications plans that drive engagement and brand positioning. šSuperb writing, editing, and storytelling skills with experience in creating B2B content, such as thought leadership articles, white papers, press releases, etc. Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
