Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

šŸ“Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. šŸ“Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded. šŸ“Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients or customers, as well as follow up on outstanding payments. šŸ“Expense Tracking: Track and categorize company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies. šŸ“Payroll Processing: Assist in processing payroll, including calculating wages, deductions, and taxes, and ensuring timely payments to employees. šŸ“Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws. šŸ“Vendor Management: Maintain email contact with vendors and suppliers, process payments. šŸ“Record Retention: Organize and maintain financial records, ensuring they are easily accessible for audits or inquiries.

Qualifications:

šŸ“Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. šŸ“Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role. šŸ“Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft Excel. šŸ“Strong attention to detail and accuracy. šŸ“Excellent organizational and time management skills. šŸ“Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance. šŸ“Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. šŸ“Ability to work independently and as part of a team. šŸ“Being located in Toronto, ON, Canada
