Job Summary
Responsibilities:
šAssist in the monthly, and annual group reporting process, including preparation of consolidation schedules and working papers. šCollect, review, and validate financial data from subsidiaries to ensure completeness and accuracy in group submissions. šHelp maintain and update reporting templates, consolidation systems, and data mapping structures. šPerform variance analysis and provide preliminary commentary on financial results. šAssist in ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, and analytical reviews as required by the Senior Associate or Group Reporting Manager. šSupport internal and external audit processes by preparing deliverables and responding to queries. šParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy within group reporting.
Requirements:
šBachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. š1ā3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting (experience in group reporting or consolidation is an advantage). šStrong understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of consolidation concepts. šProficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial consolidation or ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) is a plus. šDetailāoriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fastāpaced environment. šStrong analytical and problemāsolving skills; a curious learner eager to grow in group reporting. šGood communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a regional or global finance team.
