Our global crypto team possesses deep experience in both the scaling of new ventures and the restructuring of complex assets with asymmetric risk profiles. Through lateral acquisitions, Echo Base seeks to leverage operational and technical synergies across our portfolio companies. We seek a highly motivated Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and report to the VP of Growth. This role is critical to driving user and revenue growth, focusing on acquisition, retention, and effective channel management.
Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
šMaintain accurate daily financial records for cryptocurrency transactions, including tracking gains, losses, and cost basis. šReconcile crypto wallets, exchange accounts, and on-chain transactions with financial statements. šAssist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with global cryptocurrency tax regulations. šSupport month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries and financial reports. šWork closely with internal teams to improve crypto accounting processes and implement best practices. šStay up to date with evolving crypto tax laws and accounting standards. šAssist in audits by providing supporting documentation for crypto transactions and financial records.
Candidate Requirements:
šExperience: 2ā5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax compliance, preferably in the cryptocurrency or blockchain industry. šTechnical Knowledge: Strong understanding of crypto accounting, blockchain transactions, and tax implications. šIndustry Experience: Prior work experience at Koinly, CoinTracker, TokenTax, or similar platforms is highly preferred. šAccounting Tools: Proficiency in crypto accounting software, general ledger systems, and tools like QuickBooks or NetSuite. šAttention to Detail: Ability to track and reconcile large volumes of crypto transactions with precision. šAnalytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret blockchain transaction data. šEducation: Bachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; CPA, CFA, or similar certifications are a plus but not required.
