We focus on serving investment professionals — financial advisors, family offices, hedge funds, endowments, foundations, and others — the people entrusted to look after the capital and savings of individuals and institutions across the country. Job Summary
What You Will Do
đź“ŤAssist in the preparation and review of periodic regulatory filings for our 1934 Act reporting funds, 1940 Act reporting funds, CFTC/NFA reporting funds and our registered investment adviser entity, as well as other required regulatory filings. đź“ŤAdvise on and assist with securities laws compliance pertaining to a broad range of regulatory reporting. đź“ŤAssist in the creation and administration of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SEC regulations, CFTC and NFA regulations, NYSE regulations and OTCQX regulations, as well as other regulations applicable to publicly traded funds and registered investment advisers. đź“ŤAssist in preparing Board of Directors and committee meeting materials. đź“ŤProvide support to the fund administration, accounting, operations, capital markets and investor relations departments. đź“ŤDevelop strong working relationships and trust with key departments required for periodic reporting, particularly fund administration and accounting. đź“ŤWork closely with other Legal and Compliance team members. đź“ŤWork under general direction and keep manager informed as projects proceed. đź“ŤAssist with contract review.
Who You Are
đź“ŤJuris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree. Admission to a State Bar or equivalent legal qualification. đź“Ť2+ years of experience in public reporting for either publicly traded funds or public reporting companies at a top-tier law firm, either in a capital markets department or a funds department. đź“ŤAbility to manage and drive projects. đź“ŤExcellent writing skills and ability to multitask and work independently. đź“ŤAbility to embrace change and thrive in a fast-paced environment with conflicting priorities, multiple projects and deadline pressure.
