Marathon Digital Holdings is focused on securing and supporting the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem by building one of the largest, most agile, and most sustainable bitcoin mining operations in the world. Weā€™re growing ā€“ quickly. At the start of 2021, we were operating 2,060 miners that were producing 0.2 EH/s. By Mid 2023, we expect to have deployed approximately 199,000 miners producing approximately 23.3 EH/s, potentially representing 7% of the total network according to some estimates (source). Additionally, our objective is for our mining operations to be 100% carbon neutral by the end of this year. Weā€™re here to help make Bitcoin more secure and more widely adopted by bringing a professional and innovative approach to securing the blockchain.

Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

šŸ“Provide on-going reports and information to management and the board regarding investor feedback, perceptions and opinions, stock price movements, and ownership analysis. šŸ“Develop multi-year investor targeting and communication plans that drive multiple expansion. šŸ“Collaborate with finance, communications, and legal teams to craft the Companyā€™s messaging for the financial community and by: šŸ“Drafting press releases, earnings call scripts, shareholder letters, investor presentations, etc. šŸ“Managing the quarterly earnings results process. Maintaining the Companyā€™s investor relations website. šŸ“Serving as the primary point of contact for all investors (institutional and retail) and equity research analysts. šŸ“Work alongside the finance and operations teams to develop a clearer understanding of business drivers and key performance indicators. šŸ“Inform Leadership, peers, and Board of Directors around key areas of focus from investors. šŸ“Closely monitor our share valuation, shareholder mix, and associated dynamics šŸ“Track and maintain analystsā€™ consensus and actively participate in the financial guidance process. šŸ“Conduct analysis on Marathon, our peers, and the industry as well as buy/sell-side trends to keep the management team apprised of our current and changing position in the market. šŸ“Managing the Companyā€™s IR calendar, attending investor conferences, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

šŸ“10 + years of experience in investor relations (agency or in-house), investment banking, or equity research. šŸ“Familiarity with Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, DeFi, fintech, or tech companies. šŸ“Robust financial and analytical skills with the ability to interpret information and financial concepts for the investment community and management and apply them in business analysis situations. šŸ“Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. šŸ“Strong organizational skills. A history of balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage time-sensitive projects.
