Job Summary
Responsibilities
šLead and mentor a small, high-caliber engineering team, setting and maintaining very high engineering standards and accountability. šActively contribute to the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and reliable custody and staking infrastructure. šCollaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to prioritize initiatives, treating customer pain points and urgent issues as top priority. šDrive architectural decisions, promote best practices, and ensure systems meet high standards for reliability, security, and performance. šPersonally tackle complex, high-impact technical projects that require deep problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration. šWork closely with team members on coding, code reviews, and problem-solving to ensure fast, thoughtful, and high-quality delivery. šFoster a culture of accountability, urgency, and operational excellence across the team. šRapidly iterate to support new blockchain features and protocols while maintaining stability and scalability. šTroubleshoot critical technical issues and lead decision-making that directly impacts business outcomes and customer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
š8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or management role. šStrong technical background with hands-on experience building scalable, secure backend systems. šProven ability to drive engineering excellence and accountability within a team. šExperience leading small, high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment. šProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, TypeScript, or Go šExperience designing and operating distributed systems, microservices, or high-availability infrastructure. šFamiliarity with digital asset custody, wallets, or blockchain infrastructure is a plus, but not required.
